No bones about it, classic rock lives! The birth of Soupbone in the late fall of 2005 gave classic rock the kick in the ass it needed. As you allready know, classic rock is imortal. It's all over the radio, tv and internet. To see it live there is definitely only one place to go....... a *SOUPBONE* show!!! (Check out our gig page for a location near you) The band covers all the classic rock hits from AC/DC to Zeppelin. Our music can be enjoyed by all music lovers. Soupbone covers all the hits from 60's though the late 80's. May God bless all of you and your families!	Were Movin On Up..... ....to the eastside...Weezy tell Florence to answer the door. Well, maybe you had to grow up in the 70's to know what i mean. A couple of cool things have happened for Soupbone recently. We have been in heavy rotation on the great internet radio station Studio2Radio. Our tunes are now being heard daily by music fans all over the US as well as all over the world. For those of you that are new to Studio2Radio, You can check them out by clicking their icon on our links page. To those of you visiting us from Studio2, we say *Welcome*. The other cool thing. Soupbone has signed a deal with Versailles Records to be on a complilation album featuring independant original bands that have been influenced by AC/DC. All the members of Soupbone are big AC/DC fans and are honored to be included on this release. The first song we recorded for our first demo was "Girls Got Rythm". This is expected to be released sometime in the fall. We are currently working hard on the next round of songs to take into the studio. Some of these have been Sneak Peeked, some have not. Unfotunatly this has caused us to cut back our gigging schedule for this summer. We have played a couple of local events and a private function or two but we havent played the bar scene much this year. With any luck we will have a shrinkwrapped, barcoded full length release to offer this fall. Meanwhile, if money is burning a hole in your pocket, consider picking up a Soupbone shirt or hat. You can then prove you liked Soupbone before liking Soupbone was cool. New Feature We have added a new feature to the site. It's called Sneak Peak . This offers a peek behind the scenes of our songwriting process. The songs on the Sneak Peek page are preproduction demos that we use to evaluate new tunes and song ideas to see if they will make it on the new album. Some songs will make it, some will not. The perfofmances on the Sneak Peek songs arent perfect. Some might even be downright rough .We may even let the fans select which songs see the studio for our next recording session.
